The key to blessedness, peace, righteousness and eternal life is to walk with the Lord in the light of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, given by Jesus to the true church, whose pillar and ground is the truth – Matthew 13:11. These mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are the truths in the scriptures, which are hidden from wise men, and from most prophets and righteous men – Matthew 13:17. And Christians can only walk with the Lord, if they agree with these hidden truths and walk in them. These truths which are hid in Christ, are doctrines of His Father, who sent Him into the world – Ephesians 4:21; John 7:16-17.
Any believer in Christ, who transgresseth and abideth not in these doctrines, hath not God – 2 John 9. Any Christian, for example, who transgresses the commandment of God, written in 1 John 2:15 and abides not in the doctrine of separation from the world, hath not God.
The doctrine of Christ about separation from the world is emphasized by what Jesus said in John 17:16, that His disciples were not of the world, even as He was not of the world. Therefore, believers in Christ who are in friendship with the world, cannot walk with the Lord because they are adulterers and adulteresses, and enemies of God – James 4:4. Can God walk with His enemies who are adulterers and adulteresses, whose hands are stained with blood, as written in Ezekiel 23:45? God forbid!
Christians who are unequally yoked together with unbelievers, against which they are warned by the Spirit of God in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, are not walking with the Lord their God. They are walking with the devil, who is leading them through darkness unto eternal destruction.
The minds of many believers in Christ have been corrupted by the devil from the doctrine of simplicity that is in Christ Jesus. Paul expressed this fear in 2 Corinthians 11:3. “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve, through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
For example, the doctrine of Christ’s simplicity in burial can be seen in the burial of Jesus by His disciple, a rich man, and in the burial of Moses, by God – Matthew 27:57-60; Deuteronomy 34:5-6.
The notable marriage between Isaac and Rebecca written in Genesis 24:1-67, which gave rise to the generation of Jesus, is Christ’s doctrine of the simplicity in marriage. Everyone that is of the truth will hear the voice of Jesus, and believe all that the Spirit of truth has written in this publication – John 18:37d.
